It is noteworthy that Nancy Hall-Duncan pioneered the presentation of many subjects that are red-hot topics today, including fashion photography, African-American art, fakes and forgeries, and surrealism. She produced additional exhibitions on a wide variety of topics including Danish painting, Edvard Munch, Alexander Calder, contemporary sculpture and vintage photography as well as one of the first presentations of the Iranian-American artist Shirin Neshat.
